Ally Almore is a light chaser and a time stopper. Majority of her work as a photographer is about authentically capturing the moment. Her identities and experiences growing up in Chicago have heavily influenced her practice and she often finds herself in front of subjects that are extensions of her various communities. Her visuals tell the compelling stories from people who are often overlooked. She is the resident photographer for F4F, a black and femme focused DIY alternative space in the Little Village Neighborhood. She is also in residency with Sixty Inches's Envisioning Justice program.
